The TBcomfort creates the basis for a high-quality overhaul: In the first step the initial unbalance of the components and the mounted rotor assembly is secured. This lays the foundations for the subsequent high-speed balancing. Turbocharger components and rotor assemblies weighing up to 16 kg can be perfectly balanced on the TBcomfort. Due to its wide weight range, it is also possible to balance turbochargers of commercial and construction vehicles or marine engines. The function of all components is safe, easily understandable and often self-explanatory. The operation of the TBcomfort can therefore be mastered after only a short time.

The TBcomfort is designed according to our proven operating philosophy, which actively supports the user during balancing. This begins with the easy-to-operate protective shroud, which complies with safety class C, and continues with the easy mounting of the rotor in the machine with the convenient one-hand overslung belt drive, to the logical placement of all pushbuttons and the touch-screen operation of our measuring units.
The setup of the machine simply requires the input of the geometric data of your rotor. No calibration runs are required with the TBcomfort.
The CAB 820 is a high-performance and robust industrial PC with a TFT touch-screen. This ensures that the CAB 820 performs its tasks reliably even in a harsh manufacturing environment. The CAB 820 offers absolute peak performance due to its outstanding precision and high reliability – combined with a much-praised user friendly operator interface concept. With one main screen and one option screen, you will find everything you need for balancing – clearly summarised and logically structured.
With the rotor setup, you input all the required parameters for balancing. Further assistance is provided by clear diagrams with easily understandable symbols, logical selection menus and touch-screen operator interface.
The TBcomfort fully complies with the requirements of the latest Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, which has been in effect since the beginning of 2010, and is CE-certified. The shroud of the TBcomfort complies with the demanding requirements of ISO 7475 Class C – Protection against ejected particles. Even where no regulations apply, we have taken precautions to ensure that your fingers cannot become trapped, and that all settings can be made almost without the use of tools.
